Reynolds Kitchens® Tips
Reynolds Kitchens tip
Cool your dipped apples on a sheet of Reynolds®Parchment Paper. They won’t stick and cleanup is easy as pie. And to share your treats, wrap individual apples in squares of parchment paper and tie with a bow.

Ingredients
- 4 to 6 small red apples
- 4 to 6 wooden popsicle sticks
- Light brown sugar
- 1 bag (about 11 ounces) caramel candies, unwrapped
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- Various toppings such as chopped nuts, mini chocolate candies and morsels, or sprinkles
- Reynolds® Parchment Paper
Directions
Step 1
Wash and dry apples. Insert a popsicle stick into end of each apple.
Step 2
Line a large tray with Reynolds® Parchment Paper. Sprinkle parchment paper with brown sugar.
Step 3
Combine caramel candies, milk, vanilla extracct and allspice in a medium size microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir ingredients until evenly mixed.
Step 4
Dip and roll apples in caramel mixture to coat. Roll apple in topping, if desired.
Step 5
Stand apple on brown sugar-sprinkled parchment paper. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
Recipe Tip
The brown sugar adds extra sweetness and crunch to the caramel apples and prevents the gooey caramel from sticking as it hardens.
