As the temperature drops, soup becomes the ultimate dish. Not only is it the ideal comfort food, but it’s also a great way to turn any produce or leftover items in your pantry into something delicious.

Directions:

MAKE A BASE BROTH:

Start with chicken or vegetable stock, and add chopped carrots, celery and onions.

FLAVOR IT:

Add in your favorite flavors to the base to make a rich, intense broth.

  1. Make it fresh: Add lemongrass and ginger
  2. Make it spicy: Add cayenne and hot peppers
  3. Make it hearty: Add chopped potatoes or beans

COOK ON LOW:

For 3-4 hours to let the flavors intermingle
